    ETA on 4200+ 939 - LN16811

    I know they're EOL but just wondering when Scan's going to get them in again..

    I will preorder them if Scan's getting them soon-ish..

    No eta at present.... have you checked to see if your motherboard will support socket 939 Opterons - as they will work on many 939 boards?

    well i was looking for an opteron chip too.. but all the dual core 939 opterons are pre-order only..

    I rang up on the day they went out of stock to order one... Ended up searching for half an hour and ordered one from Komplett.co.uk, nice delivery, slightly more than Scan because of they don't offer free delivery but it came super fast and is running nice now, although I do not note a difference from my 3000 AMD Athlon (OC'd 2.4ghz)

    Sorry we've no fixed dates as we were lucky to find the last batch of OEM when we did.

    As such it might be the case that we cannot source these any longer.
