Hi guys.
After looking at reviews of this case, it looked like there were issues with my motherboard (Abit IP35 pro) because it's got 90 degree sata ports on the motherboard, which the HDD cage interferes with. I e-mailed silverstone and they said the way around this would be to move the HDD cage around. My sole concern really is whether everything will fit satisfactorily.
Under the distance selling regs would I be elligible to return such a case if the items did not fit together? I have 5 HDDs you see, so quite a pain. I'm not sure whether to just get a Lian-Li PC7 instead, but it's just so old (and you don't sell them?!). I've considered the sharkoon as well but the 'economy' and 'value' labels are a bit off putting, and they don't have any reviews. Mainly what I'm looking for is a well built case that doesn't weigh a tonne and can store some hard drives. My plan is to sell the P180 to a mate, get a cheapish case that I can carry, then put my asus p5w system in my old sonata, then through 2008 I will systematically change my system so I end up with the asus system having 4 hard drives and my gaming system having 2. Then I will probably use the asus system as a fileserver.
Sorry for a bit of a ramble, anyway. The stacker looks ok but it's pretty heavy still, I was hoping for something 8.5 kilos max really.
