    MP3 player eaten by dog

    hi

just over a week ago I ordered the tiny Sports 2GB mp3 player for my sisters Birthday present. It arrived and I spent the next day filling it with all the rubbish pop music that she enjoys.

Once finished filling it I wrapped it and posted it down to her. The day of her Birthday I telephoned to give her Birthday wishes and to find out if she was happy with the mp3 player I sent.

"I can't get it to switch on" she exclaimed.

As this is the most simplist mp3 player in the world I was confused as it switches on automatically when the headphones are inserted.

I went through the basic instructions with her buy no go. In a hump she passed it over to her husband and within two minutes I could hear the faint noise of music coming from the headphones. My sister was of course embarrassed but grateful that it had now been correctly operated.

Cue the next morning and I get a phone call from my sister who is in tears. Inbetween hysterical blubbering I get "i'm really sorry...but the dog chewed it to pieces last night".

I got the impression she was nervous about telling me but I was more worried that the dog was ok and not swallowed anything small.

So, now i'm after a dog proof mp3 player, capacity about 2gb. suggestions welcome.

I don't however suppose Scan would replace the mp3 by any chance if all siliva was washed off?

    Many thanks

Would it make any difference if I posted the dog with the mp3 player?

Here's a new market for Corsair to move into with their Survivor series USB sticks

Dog Proof to 1 rottweiller or 3 small terriers
