This is really, really close to your budget at £32.89 inc VAT.

Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK

Given I paid out £45 in Comet because I was in a hurry after my previous mouse died, it's worth the extra couple of quid

My weapon of choice Keep away from Razer mice, from experience they are too small, too light and too power hungry (my diamondback wouldnt even power up most of the time because of the power it demanded)

    Re: Gaming mouse suggestions

I have a Habu, works fine, very comfortable, but I've also used a MX518 for work & I do like the solid feel of Logitech mice.

the razer copperhead's on scan for £33.75

It's a great mouse, so smooth and comfy. I use it with just the tips of my fingers on the mouse though, not my palm

Another vote for the Logitech 518 here. I replaced mine with a G5 but the 518 is the next best thing IMO.

I've got that one for work it's a nice mouse just a slightly weird scroll wheel (it doesn't always seem to move all the time when you scroll)

Please dont take my "opinion" of this mouse as being gospel, Ive no doubt that for every person who dislikes it theres probably another 10 who love it. I have large hands so the size of it is a major downside for me, I feel like Im using a notebook mouse. But the power issue was a major flaw, I did read that disconnecting the led's inside that create the lighting effect sorted out the no power at boot problem, but that shouldnt really happen in the first place.

    Re: Gaming mouse suggestions

I own a 510 ( same size as the 518 ) and a razer diamond back, initially i prefered the 510 as it fitted my hand better, yes the razers are on the small side but given time you get used to it. I love mine now its perfect for those 1 shot moving sniper headshot kills in FPS games.
