spelling "SCAN is arguably the UK's most customer focussed retailer of PC technology"

Yes, you can tell, I'm not busy today!

    Focussed or focused?
SCAN is arguably the UK's most customer focussed retailer of PC technology

It just never looks right to me and most of the English (UK) dictionaries agree with me though some say both are correct, a single 's' is highly preferred in English. Most of the online resources that have the twp 's''s are American.

Dictionary.com says focussed is the English spelling

    verb, -cused, -cus·ing
    or (especially British) -cussed, -cus·sing.

Either of the methods of spelling is correct as per the Oxford University Press, Advanced Learners Dictionary (Best selling English dictionary).
