Finance order all NOW out of stock!!

Made a finance order just before christmas, all in stock, recieved email notification on the 3rd saying stage 2/4 complete then on the 4th recieved another email stated everything was out of stock!!!

Items - 3 x LN10761 - ETA (awaiting manu)
1 x LN17072 - Item overdue since 4th
1 x LN19540 - ETA (awaiting manu)

When am I getting my stuff and will they be send seperately when you do have them in stock.


I would like to add that I am not very happy with this service, considering all items were in stock when ordered and also as my 9mths credit agreement has already started.

There is nothing you can do if the items become out of stock. Your finance order takes time. And obviously you have to sign the agreement for and send it away.

Scan couldn't possibly set stock aside on placing your order as some people may not send the agreement form off! Where would that leave them!

That may be but he has already started paying for a PC he hasnt got.
Would you be happy about that? Especailly seeing as how 2 items havent even got ETA dates.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused by any delays - Please note stock will only be allocated once V12 received the signed agreement from yourself, also the Credit Agreement starts 1 month AFTER you receive the goods so you will not loose any of the interest free period

We cannot reserve stock with Finance orders on placement of the order as the agreement could be declined or the forms may never be returned to the Finance Company.

If you can post your invoice number I will check the status of the order for you.

is good to know that the credit aggrement starts one month after the arrival of goods. but i have already paid out 25.00 to v12 and 10% deposit to scan and aint got a clue when i shall get my stuff.

This order was made through my recommendation so could this be looked into please and invoice number removed, seany can only post evenings.

The 10% is the deposit for the parts as per the agreement, this is teken once we have raised the order for you.

The £25 is the administration charge from the finance company.

now im just confused the e-mail you sent says that only the graphics card is out of stock yet when i check on scans site i see that the other two items r still out of stock aswell and are waiting ETA from manu. so there is no point me substituting the saphire x1950 pro for something else as the other items r not avalible or is it that your site does not update propperly. in all i am still waiting and none the wiser when my order will come.

I can confirm the information provided by Carl is correct, the remaining items on your order have already been allocated to your order so there are no other stock issues.

We are currently liasing with suppliers to source the stock for you as Carl has also confirmed in his E-mail
