    Bubble wrap

Just had an order arrive, extremely well packed (maybe TOO well packed?!) Out of interest, how much bubble wrap do scan go through each month? Even my 3 little SATA cable boxes were all individually wrapped with about 2 foot of bubble wrap on each

    Cheers
    Steve

Better overdone than under, can't tell how much but I could imagine extreme amounts.

Home-made sleeping bags for fesitvals you know people will envy it as it's comfy and warm.

Then you don't need to carry them home, you just wrap them and put them in the bin

They also come in handy as pseudo-airbeds when you've got enough lol

    Re: Bubble wrap

Great Lee - finally a use for my airing cupboard full o bubble wrap

In a similar note - i love the way scan packs stuff - never had a damaged order yet, even though my city link depot is rough and careless with everything - and as me buying something from scan normally signifies the sale of the item its replacing, I can order one and re-use the box/bubble wrap from the scan order to post out the old one to a new home

    Re: Bubble wrap

I had a delivery the other day from A.N.Other retailer (Scan don't sell this item by the way) and the item wasn't wrapped, at all.

The address label was just stuck on the outside of the box !

Genius idea, probably coming up to having enough, had to buy some a while ago (before scan my recent scan orders) so also have most of a roll of unused stuff, might have to try fashioning a roll up air bed out of them soon.

I had the same before, think it was a printer, just had a label on the outside of the box, oh, and an office chair, 2 of them came, one of them was smashed a bit, put it together and within about 2 days 2 of the wheels had snapped off.
