Hi everyone!
I purchased a Gigabyte 965P-DS4 motherboard from scan back on september 6th 2006 back along with a c2d e6600.
The board hasn't been bad since I had it, although I have had to rma it with you once before in october 2006.
Basically the problem is with the IO ports on the back; whilst in windows I get the message 'device has exceeded the power limits of the port.' This happens almost every time you try to plug in a device to the speaker ports, usb etc, after seeing the message the webcam, usb mouse and usb keyboard all remain unusable.
To further this I have a corsair USB flash drive (turboflash 1gb) that I bought from you in April that has since died and a 2gb samsung easydisk drive that i bought in september - BOTH OF THESE HAVE SINCE DIED - wondering if these are related to the 'overvoltage' problem?
i remember reading the corsair having lifetime warranty, but I can't find out about the other two, what should I do?
Thanks in advance!
