Is Intel going to be releasing a similar chip to the AMD 780G. I would rather buy a Intel Core Duo for the media centre PC I'm planning but want to use an onboard GPU that is DX10 and with similar specs to the 780G. Is one in the works or do I need to go down the AMD route?
The new Intel G43 and G45 Eaglelake chipsets featuring on-board GPU with DX10 are scheduled to appear Q2 2008, but I think that is optimistic....I would guess it will be more like Q3/Q4.
