Ok its up for £38 on ebuyer at pre-order... I'm just waiting to see how scan prices it... £38 is amazingly low for what this case gives...

wow that sounds like my sort of case, if it comes out @ £30 and they make a clear side panel window for like £10 extra then ill be buying this .
If the window from the 900 or 1200 is anything to go by and is an optional feature for the 300, I'd be steering well clear of it. Another reason why I dislike the 900.
Any idea when you'd be getting one of these Scan?
the only downside is the 140mm compared too 220mm fan , not much of a problem but still.
same with me, hence why i said its not much of a problem
It is a shame though, dad seems too be happier with me looking into this case(for £40) compared too the 900@ £70 xD.
ANy reviews on thermal performance? because if its similar too the 900 i think ill just bag this.
Well it depends on how where and how many fans you can put into the case
2 front 120mm's
1 rear 120mm's
1 side 120mm's
1 140mm top blow hole
When bought, the temps wont be any diff to even a coolermaster elite series. But if you place in decent fans such as:
120mm: Silent/Quiet/Loud
140mm: Quiet/Loud/VeryLoud
Seeing as your looking to cost.. i put lower end fans there, most i've had experiance with.
Even with the quiet fans the temps should be great... The main fan locations you want to look at are the rear and top blow hole realy. Having low cfm quiet fans on the side and front should be fine and temps should be good
My plan is to have silent fans all over ... i love silence

yeh i have a 120mm akasa fan and its great at full power, shame the 80--> 120mm mount wouldnt fit so cant use it, will buy another and shove 2 at the front. I wont pre-order it till scan and everything has it up because i want too get the cheapest .
Shame the sharkoon fans have been over due since 21/02, thats nearing 2 months so they must be failing somewhere xD.
any chance you know how many/where the dust filters are? like are they included in the 140mm fan area and the rear/front too?
ugh, if only google check out was doing the £10 off a £30 spend again .
You only need dust filters on intakes and realy your only intakes should be the side and front. The front bezel has a mesh+dust filter where the 900 only had a mesh (they got real dusty), but the side only has a grid which is the worst for bringing in dust... thats why I've been reconmending scan to start selling dust filters.
Your only dust worry is the side realy.

doubt i will put a side fan on but if i do i believe some are sold @ scan etc.
I wonder when ebuyer are getting their stock as they havent listed a date(so far as i can tell).
edit: if u add to basket it says due in 10-12days, so april 26th?
Man I am SYCHED for this case. Can't wait to replace this current one. Think I'll be able to fit a 160mm odd HSF in there?
Cleavage is like the sun...Quick glances.
Well I'm planning on getting either a scythe ninja or start off slow with a freezer pro 7, I know they should both fit but a 160mm one on a 205mm wide case will either not fit or be very tight, I will most likely try it if there seems to be enough room after i got a ninja installed (thier 150mm high)
In my opinion, it should fit

OMG O_O O_O at least 5 times a day i check to see if scan has this up for pre-order XD
Scan FTW
