I always look around every major and sometimes minor etailer before purchasing, and in my experience ebuyer has come out on top on price (and lately service, which surprised me) most times. When it comes down to splitting your order because one site has a product a pound or two cheaper I've generally realized, after doing the sums, that I'm better off buying all I need from a single delivery.
It's a competitive market to say the least.
I'm impressed though to find that I saved myself a few quid today by going with scan, and I'm encouraged to find an active support forum that seems to have a lot of happy customers in it. The free carriage on orders over £20 will probably go a long way in deciding who I shop with in future as well. Nice tactic and very nice for us customers.
Just wanted a SATA cable and ended up buying a new drive and two cables.
Really wanted to congratulate scan on their business savy, as someone is clearly on the ball there, watching and understanding the market. I'm impressed with the business model, and hope the customer service is just as good. I've got no reason to think it won't be and every reason to think it will after reading around scans site and these forums.
I don't even have to minimum spend £50 to get free delivery in five days time. Heh. Good stuff guys.
Looking forward to my terabyte of storage.
