    Q-Collect

    Hi guys,

Whats the point of having a Q-Collect service when its quicker to go in store, pay for the item and walk out of the store within 15minutes with the product?

I've had this on a couple of occasions including today - Ordered an item a day or so before - waited for the "come collect your stuff" email and it usually takes around 5 hours to recieve this email (so far I ain't even recieved the email).

Rung customer services, who stated they'd mark it urgent and it would be ready within half an hour - sat here 45 minutes later waiting.

Sorry to complain its just that I need to travel upto scotland and back today (to pickup wifey) and I'm sat here waiting on a confirmation email when it would have been quicker to just buy the product from in store on my way past.

considering cancelling my order and just getting it from the store on my way past now

    Re: Q-Collect

sorry for being impatient - just got my email to pickup - doh!

it does get frustrating though waiting for qcollect orders to be picked (and acknowledgement emails to be recieved). I'd assume those ordering QCollect - would live within reach of the store and would require the item quite quickly (given that some people don't), the usual turn around time can be a bit of a pain.

thanks anyways, but in future i think i'll stick to just ordering from in store where the turnaround time is allot better

  3. Received thanks from:

    Re: Q-Collect

In most circumstances q-collect is more convenient as it saves the hassle of queueing at the store. I do agree though that the 3rd e-mail can take quite a while, especially if you are sat there refreshing your in-box. I prefer to use q-collect myself though as the store gets very busy on a saturday which is the only time I can get there.

Don't forget that others have also had this long weekend to place their orders ahead of you as well ...

    Re: Q-Collect

somehow I knew that one was coming david

I appreciate that in this instance, but every other instance i've used a Q-Collect order first thing in the morning, then receive the 3rd email after 3PM makes it a bit pointless, especially taking into account I travel allot further than most peeps who use Q-Collect (ooo about 32miles to be precise!)

Even if you stand in the queue at the shop theres usually at least 3 sales peeps on counter so the turnaround is a heck of allot quicker rather than using Q-Collect. Also the really friendly staff often recommend better products for me so I can't complain - just down to personal experience that I prefer gonig direct to the store

Sorry Scan - I'm a tad impatient when it comes to getting my stuff (Its usually spur of the moment being the sort of bloke who wants it all NOW! )

Anyways I appreciate being hoisted up the chain and the urgent turn around time.
