    City-Link!!

I don't know if its just me but I always have a bad experience with City-Link. I always have someone at home, so I told them that I'm expecting a delivery. Got home at 5.00 and no delivery!!
I check at 6.00 on their website and said it made an attempt at 5.15 & left a card!! I was standing outside my door talking to my neighbour at that time!!
I just arranged another day for redelivery, if they left a card I could of collect it from their Depot!

PS this is not the first time they did this!!!

    Re: City-Link!!

Sometimes when the drivers have alot of packages to deliver and a number of collections to make for a certain time (specifically businesses that shut at a set time), it is not physically possible to do so, therefore on the occasion this happens the driver will just write down they attempted to deliver....when they really didnt.

    Sucks i know.

Its always been hit or a miss with Citylink for me, It seems to depend almost entirely on the driver and if you get "a good un or a bad un"

I've had to go along to the depot a few times and it doesn't inspire confidence when theres active dispatch slips being kicked around the floor

I had a poor guy turn up with a 37" tv and no trolley to carry it he'd been told by dispatch to ask the the recipient to help carry it but as i pointed out what was going happen if some old granny opened the door

    Methos.

    Re: City-Link!!

****tylink are well known for doing this. I've had the same experience. In fact one time they must have sneaked up to my front door and slipped a card through as quietly as possible. God knows why. They can't have knocked because my dog always barks when someone comes to the door.

    Re: City-Link!!

General City Link issue's can be discussed elsewhere - As advised before specific issues to SCAN deliveries can of course be raised through a new thread.

If you can post your Invoice Number and I ensure re-delivery is made for you.

    Best Regards

    Re: City-Link!!

If your depot is the Barking one then you shouldn't have that many problems. I've had so many deliveries by them and I've never had them lie about delivering or carding. Or it could just be your lazy driver in your area.

If it's your home home then it's Barking and we probably share the same delivery man

Well of course I mean home home, I don't think Barking would deliver to Uni home, will take 2 hours to get there

Funny thing is, my local depot is Barking... I wished they left a card so I could collect!

    But all sorted
