Moduler power supply issue (LN19236)

I'm interested in the 620w moduler coolermaster (LN19236) but I need a 8pin PEG connector. I noticed it's got one but when looking at pictures I can only see 2x6PIN connectors on the actualy module.

Is it advertising a 8pin but in fact it's just a 6pin with two empty slots on it? I've seen this on a couple of moduler PSUs like the OCZ one but want to be sure if this one suffers from the gimmick or not.

Yeah I know they say on the specs, but look at the actual power supply. See it's only got 2x6pins? I've seen moduler power supplies say they have 8 pins but they in fact just 6pins with two empty "dummy" pins.

This is not true the extra pins are wired up to the wires next to them which alot of PSU do for 8 pin PCI-E support.

My 520W Coolermaster has the 8 pin with the 2 extra pins going into the 6 Pin.

As the two extra pins are only grounds to allow for the extra juice to go through the cable it's a perfectly safe way of doing it.

*Sigh*. Often in moduler PSU they say they have a 8pin PEG connector when it is actualy just a 6pin with two empty sockets. For example the OCZ 780w does this. Aswell as a couple of others. AKA a 6 pin gimmick.
