Adaptec 5405

Does anyone know if the Adaptec 5405 cards supplied by Scan come with the cable for attaching the SATA drives or not. I am hoping that they do as Scan don't seem to sell 8087 - Sata break out cables.

Going to order 3 the weekend but want to make sure that will have the cables or if need to order additionally.

Sorry, but seeing as the item is out of stock we cannot confirm the package contents until we get them here and check the box contents.

For anyone else that is ordering the Adaptec SAS/SATA RAID Cards I can confirm that they DO NOT come with the cables for connecting to the Hard Drives and need to be ordered seperately.

3Ware cards do come with the cables for connecting SATA Hard Disks to the Controller.

In view of this Scan might want to consider selling the neccessary cables for connecting the Adaptec Controllers, as I am having to go and order the cables from elsewhere now.
