    Now thats a bad starting price, you may aswell go for a HX620 lol. Hope it goes down, great product IMO.

    Re: New Corsair HX450 @ £75?

    No you'd go for a HX520 at that price. Could just be a pricing error. It's still on pre-order so the price will probably change when they actually get some most likely.

    Re: New Corsair HX450 @ £75?

    seems like very bad value for money personally, should be about £65 at most
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?W...+year+warranty
    that is essentially the same unit but higher wattage

    ps HX450 is modular, but its not showing up in the modular PSU section.

    Well if Scan get 100 in and they don't shift because you can get the HX520W for less...

    Re: New Corsair HX450 @ £75?

    Simple answer is the 520 is older stock, once they run out and new stock is ordered expect the price to go up,

    i know it keeps getting mentioned but as the Pound is weak at present there is just nothing we can do about it. It not for the want of trying, its just the nature of the beast im afraid.

    :'(

    Yeah it is a real shame. With the Modu82+ 425W selling for £56 though you would have be crazy to get the corsair

    Any word on whether this one is a seasonic?

    i think it is (i remember reading something about it somewhere... no idea where though :S)

    so things currently stand at (with a modified version of my list ):

    -------------------------------------
    Organised by rated wattage:
    -------------------------------------
    CX400w = Seasonic

    VX450w = Seasonic

    HX450w = Seasonic

    HX520w = Seasonic

    VX550w = CWT

    HX620w = Seasonic

    TX650w = Seasonic

    TX750w = CWT

    TX850w = CWT

    HX1000w = CWT

    ---------------------------
    Organised by series:
    ---------------------------

    CX400 = Seasonic

    VX450 = Seasonic
    VX550 = CWT

    TX650 = Seasonic
    TX750 = CWT
    TX850 = CWT

    HX450 = Seasonic
    HX520 = Seasonic
    HX620 = Seasonic
    HX1000 = CWT
