    Customer focussed?

    giggle. Yes, I'd argue it.

I've always had excellent results from Scan sales. But on the admittedly rare occasions somethign goes wrong with the kit, trying to get hold of someone to talk about it, let alone arrange a return, is like looking for rocking horse **** that has silver plated four-leaf clover growing out of it.

I bought a Thecus N1200 two weeks ago. Deson't work. Submitted a message on their tech help ssytem... not a peep.

Got to be honest - read through the threads here - sounds like you have had a bad experience - these guys are on it.

What is the problem with the N1200?

You can post here requesting a RMA.

Scan are excellent. The team managed to sort my issues, it took a few weeks start to finish but mine was a bit of a strabnge one. 2nd replacement works great first replacement worked their side but not mine for reason.

Like David said request the RMA here and one of the team will start looking into it for you, should imagine they will be about shortly.

It is very strange that you have not received a response from 2 weeks ago?, but of course very worrying if you have not.

Please post the OLQ number given when the query was logged so we can chase this and resolve your issue, if you do not have the OLQ number to hand your real name and E-mail address will be sufficient to track the query.

    Best Regards

    Spelling focused?

Dude I realise that when things go wrong people rant because its frustrating. If you are courteous in your posts then it will encourage the guys at Scan to look into it for you, which I am sure they will.

We have found the query, which was logged on the 2nd July. Of course we aim to respond to queries much quicker than 1 week.

You will have a response shortly to your query.

    Re: Customer focussed?

    And for a giggle of our own... the following spellings of the word focus and it's variants are deemed acceptable and accurate;

    v. focused or focussed, focusing or focussing, focuses or focusses.

So everybody is right, really. Happy days

    Re: Customer focussed?

Fair do's, Scan have kept up with the current snag, and have sent an RMA having agreed with Thecuso that the unit must be faulty.

It took a couple of days longer to start the process after I lodged a whinge but once they picked it up things progressed quiet quickly, and any delay I'd put down to obtainign responses from thecus - as I asked tehcus direct in parallel I know how long it took them to reply.

So - either I had a previous bad incident or Scan have bucked up teh support/returns side of the operation. Either way - thanks guys.
