Wow! Talk about over priced whats going on scan! These should be about £320-£350, not nearly £400. Your gonna price yourself out of the market!
$549 -> £288 -> £338 (inc VAT)
Over priced ? I don't think so from looking at our closest "UK" competitors.
Well ebuyer have got their prices right:
Scan is £45.51 more expensive for the Sapphire one, and £31.04 for Powercolor. That to me says overpriced. £400 for the sapphire! :O
EDITED BY CHRISP: We see these threads for every new Graphics Card released and the response is the same each time, as Fornowagain has said the Retailer mentioned has no stock so the price cannot be considered as correct, once stock lands then we will re-check our pricing. Reducing the Retail price by £ 45.51 is not feasible and the cards are selling at the price we have listed and our margin is not over inflated.
Regards
Ridiculous prices. If you wanted sales it might be worth considering actually selling them for less than the "UK competitor" that actually has it in stock and is selling them today. Disappointing.
There was a time when scans prices on new gpu's were abit like ebuyers price today but as of late they are reflecting the prices ocuk charge on new cards.
So don't buy one from scan, or just wait a couple of weeks for the prices to settle as the cards actually become available..
Pre order's are coming through so I guess reputation, specification and service are playing a factor in customer's buying decisions.
:)
Only early adaptors buy gfx on launch day and for them, availability is the key which unfortunately something that Scan doesnt have :p
Do you have an ETA?
