Thats almost certainly gaffed memory on the card and is faulty.
Well fingers crossed the next one doesn't have the same problem ;0)
With STALKER out friday is it hoping too much that scan get me a new one by then? Cheeky I know but they're darn fast at collecting
My own experience of SCAN's RMA process is they are speedy and if it's a specific problem in terms of how it fails, a nice phone call will sort it out.
I've had stuff tested the very next day from when SCAN recieved the item through to being tested within 3 working days. Refunds tend to take time, replacements are quick.
make sure you insist its replaced with a sealed retail box after BFG sent me a duff 2nd hand card
Mate - is that the third one you've had go boom ?

Do I need a 2000W psu or something?!
I've got to go into a meeting for about an hour bbl.

"I've heard there is a common problem with this item from forums" - If you read some forums they believe Elvis was abducted by aliens, doesn't mean it's true.
i would send the psu in as well so they can test them together, should only get 1 return charge that way ?

The EK one - personally i didn't like one end of the block versus the EK 8800GTX block i've got as it's not directly bolted down. The one pictured above has a much nicer fit from the looks of it and the benefit of moving water over pretty much the whole card rather than just the centre.
