    icy box and hdd q - added q about scan ext box.

    hi

    looking at getting another hdd ext drive and was thinking about getting a hitachi 500 gig and black icy box here: http://www.scan.co.uk/product.aspx?ProductId=14764

    do i need anything to run or will my e-sata cables power it all up.

    All the 3.5" icyboxes come with the required power adaptors in order for them to be powered and function which are basically like notebook power adaptors and these are needed to power the drives.

    does this scan one do the same as the icy and work with sata 2 drives. i assume its got an external psu to?
