    HIS 2600XT - where's it gone?

    hello,

Recently I've been thinking of purchasing the HIS 2600XT card (the one with the awesome cooler on it), it was available for about £40 I think. However, I checked today on your site and I can't find it any more! Has it been taken out of stock??

    It's quite possibly EOL

Have you got the LN reference for it?

Ah... What a shame. Why is it EOL so early?

Are there any other cards that use the same cooling system as the HIS card? I had a look at the powercolor card, and that fan system isn't what I'm looking for.

The 3600 and 4600 series supercede the 2600. You are referring to the ICEQ cooler I assume? If so scan stock the 4670 ICEQ and HIS do a 3650 version. They also have a passive (Zalman-based) 4650 but you can only find it with a search.

The 3850 and 4850 use a different type of ICEQ (much longer, different designs) but both are considerably more than you want to spend, I'd imagine.

Does the Palit 9500GT with passive sink meet your needs? Its similar price to the 2600, would perform much better and give out much less heat than that 2600.
Alternatively if you can wait, try the 4650s when they come into stock.
