    Avail Check on LN2892 & LN22893 Asus P5Q Mobos

Hi there - the 2 LBs stated in the title are for the Asus P5Q Deluxe and P5Q-E respectively. Looking to order a whole new build off you guys, so would rather it all come at the same time, so any idea when these may come into stock?

    Thanks,

    JP

I dislike it when people only buy the big volume brands...

All these I would choose over the Asus:
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?W...TA+RAID%2c+ATX
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?W...TA+RAID%2c+ATX

With the Gigabyte board being my favourite since it has the new Ultra Durable 3 as well as Gigabyte have been the best boards I've used so far. Feature wise I really don't see anything that the Asus offers over my choices that justifies it as a better option.

Erm, all of those are "big volume brands" too... none of them have esata either...

None of them compare to Asus in terms of volume or marketing(hence random people naturally tend to choose Asus over other brands because they have either heard of them from marketing or someone else having them); MSI, Gigabyte and DFI might be big volume but compared to what? Asus are big volume compared to MSI, Gigabyte and DFI... and is it not possible to use eSATA on the cases front panel? Back panel eSATA is a pain in the ass.

ASUS boards are popular because of the layouts too, you'll always get the SATA ports at the right edge and not all those funky colours like Gigabyte has. The Aesthetics are their selling point too

I hardly see a Gigabyte board in a pro mod worklog

Although I do like features I wouldn't want to have all my cables travelling all over the motherboard making the insides of the case look messy. I'd probably get a Gigabyte board if I had a non side window case and I wasn't going to show it anyone I'd get one
