How long is Scan's warranty on this item?

Regarding this item: LN22642

How long is the warranty with Scan? I thought most companies did a 1 year warranty then after that it goes to the manufacturer.

After 28 days do I have to send it back to the manufacturer?

3 Year Warranty,

1st Month With Scan and there after with Samsung

Although, legally the buyer has the right to return faulty goods to the seller within 12 months should they choose.

Would I be right in guessing that the DOA time is for dead on arrival returns (parts that arrive at the customer damaged or not working)?

But scan will just send it to samsung. If you want a quick RMA turn around its better to go directly to the manufacturer unless the retailer has a good RMA policy (like ebuyer does - full refund of what you paid if you RMA within a year)
