Upgrading Postage from free Shipping

Has anyone ever upgraded the postage from the free shipping offered as a Hexus forum member and had it work?
Ordered some items at the weekend and paid extra to have them delivered before 12.00pm, however when i finally received the notification that the item had shipped it said that delivery was all day between 9am to 5.30pm.
Seems a bit strange to be honest.

I've personally had no problems the couple of times I've upgraded to Saturday delivery (though the Citylink guy *did* turn up at 6.45 on one Saturday morning, and I was a little hungover but that's my fault!)

I'll confirm this for you, but I believe the confirmation email may display the time range incorrectly for Saturday. However - if Saturday delivery was selected, then the service is pre-12.

I'll need the invoice number (i've space now - I forgot as a none-active moderator - I get less inbox space then I used to have )

I can see the order was delivered today @ 11.01am.
