    Dfi x58

Can anyone tell me if these and this model in particular DFI LP UT X58-T3eH8 is as you'd say the best X58 motherboard for maximum overclocks.

Is it better than the Asus Rampage II Extreme, and P6T Deluxe + OC Palm?

it's good not sure if its any better than the others as most of the i7 cpu's will hit 3.6ghz with ease, personally i think the build quality on the asus boards is much better.

The Rampage II Extreme is the king of X58 overclocking, without a doubt. Its got every feature that anyone could wish for.

    Re: Dfi x58

Still awayed towards the DFI I've had many DFI boards and my latest board was an Asus Maximus don't get me wrong great motherboard but there isn't enough in the BIOS to keep me playing at overclocking, I pretty much had the Asus flying in a day where as the DFI's range of adjustments would take me at least a week sometimes a few weeks.

I'm a bit different I deliberately bought a DFI Expert a few years back because it was said to be almost impossible to get to run properly, I absolutely loved it played for many hours testing different settings.

My reason for the thread was because since having the Asus I stopped overclocking because I lost the fun factor and I haven't looked around for 15 months so I'm rusty shall we say.

If anyone on here says they've had one and it was a bugger to set up let me know because that's what I want just so long as it'll keep up with the other boards when set up.
