Another Thank-You Scan Post!

I'm now sitting here with my nice shiny new BFG GTX280 from Scan. Its the first time i have bought a new graphics card - i always used to buy parts from a mate who would sell them to me when they were a few generations behind current tech and when he was upgrading, so i considered this to be a fairly major and nerve racking purchase for me!

I emailed the manwhocan@scan and requested that it was put on today only last week, and Scan obliged with a nice little discount which made the card £255 delivered - a bargain i think!

Its my second purchase from Scan and there hasn't been a problem with either of them. My only minor gripe with this one is that the BFG box is quite thin and was a little creased where it had had some weight on top of it, maybe it could have done with being inside another box for delivery? But, with a lifetime warranty it doesn't really matter too much!

So, if anyone else has been considering an upgrade for a while, or is looking for something particular on today only then send them an e-mail and make a request, and be safe in the knowledge that Scan will provide a first class service if you choose to take advantage of their excellent prices!
