    X58 Mobo

    Could some one from scan confirm if this lead http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Akasa...9-AK-CB8-8-EXT will work with this mobo http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Asus-...-SATA-RAID-ATX

    The CPU connector has one set of four blanked.

    Just a bit of plastic that can be removed so you can use an 8pin connector which I recommend you use for i7.

    There are no compatibility issues with cables like that. If the board's got an 8-pin connector (I'm pretty sure all i7 boards do - at least they damn well should!) it will work.
