    Corsair or OCZ SSD

    Hi

Since Windows 7 is coming out this week, I want to upgrade my PC with a SSD (maybe RAID 0).

I have had my eyes on the Corsair X64 and OCZ Vertex 60GB.

I have been looking at the website nearly everyday and I have noticed a price increase on the OCZ SSD from about £171 to £218.
    Whats up with that!!!!

I'm not in any rush because I want to see if SSD and TRIM play nicely however I'm torn between the two drives

Do I go for the Corsair or the OCZ?

    +1 for Intel,

though any new SSD will totally eclipse a conventional spinning drive.

As long as JMicron aren't involved.

    Re: Corsair or OCZ SSD

I too am hoping to purchasing the Intel X25-M G2. Sadly the prices for SSDs have risen in the short term as the demand for NAND flash is outstripping supply. I'm thinking of waiting until after Christmas, but if Scan's price for the Intel SSD stay the same, £170 for 80GB, then I think I will buy.
