Monitors - Are Dell 24inch still the preferred option?

Hi Guys,

I was just wondering if the Dell Monitors are still the preferred option if you have the £400 (approx) to spare? I currently have the Dell 2407 I think it is and have been looking for something a little nicer - maybe LED backlit.

Thoughts, suggestions etc appreciated.

Personally I'd go with Dell or Samsung (I currently have a Dell i'm perfectly happy with). Money no object i'd be tempted by an Eizo but you won't see one this side of £400!
