Replacement/refund for an accident caused by your dog. You'll be paying to return it to scan and then paying for them to test it and replace parts. Home contents insurance may be your best bet.

not sure whether to say ur real name! lol but anyway.
i think wot u shud do mate is just let me take you 2 college on thursday and for us at the college 2 hav a look at it and then see if you get sum more replies from ppl on this website. or wait to see whether the scan ppl will reply to this thread.
p.s. just make sure that before you bring it in tho that it is properly cleaned out as it could have sum dust in it or something and that sometimes prevents the connections from working properly.
network_csmith (to the rescue!!!!!)
You seem to be deluding yourself somewhat, so let me break it down for you.
1) The components were working fine until you broke them (no, it doesn't matter whether it was your dog, friend, mother, alien from outer space)
2) No company has a legal duty to repair/refund items that you have damaged yourself unless you have insurance which covers that
Summary: Scan do not have to do anything at all here, and neither would any etailer.
