    GPU RMA requirements question

I have an issue with my EVGA GTX260 SSC I bought back in Feb (ish) time. It throws up BSOD randomly (could be a couple of weeks through to twice a day) and switching it out for a 8600GT solves it. I can game on the GTX260...sometimes...and sometimes for hours but other times it will just fall flat on it's face and give me a white screen or BSOD.

Anyhow the only way so far I know that will show the GPU is at fault is running the OCCT stresst/error test. It's either the GPU or my PSU (Corsair HX520); which was also purchased at the same time as the GTX260.

Note: the length between errors is greater the lower i clock the GTX260.

Would SCAN accept an RMA based on the above OCCT test?

    Re: GPU RMA requirements question

I know EVGA request that you run ATI Tool and RTHDRIBL on the card at the same time to see how that runs if you return it to them, I would hazard a guess that Scan would suggest doing the same.

Another thing I know that is EVGA are more likely to replace it than Scan if it is a very intermittant fault (How I know about ATITool/RTHDRIBL as I sent mine in and it was NFF so sent it off to EVGA and got a replacement)

Please run ATI Tool and RTHDRIBL on the card at the same time to see how that runs, if you do need to continue this discussion further, please log it in the after sales section.
