Toshiba MK6465GSX & MK3265GSX Laptop Drives - Can you please stock

Hi,

I am amazed Scan don't have these.

But I am wanting a new hard drive for my PS3.

And was looking around and noticed that Toshiba have released their 320GB per Platter series and were the first to do so (Western Digital and Samsung released theirs shortly after which for some reason Scan also don't seem to stock too but most other UK retailers have them).

The announcment article for the Toshiba's was on Hexus on the 2nd September.

But as I say cannot see them on Scan for sale. Only the older 250GB per platter Toshiba models.

I think I would only need the 320GB one platter model for my PS3. And as I now know these are out buying a 250GB per Platter hard drive would seem to me like old tat to me.

Furthermore from what I have read due to Toshiba's merger with Fujitsu's who also made decent Hard Drives it seems these new 320GB Platter Density models have additional technology improvements they've obtained from Fujitsu so it looks like best of all worlds.

So therefore could I ask if Scan could stock them, and if so what would the ETA be of stock.

Giving this a slight Monday Morning Bump.

If Scan could only stock one of the two could it be the 320GB MK3265GSX

Think I just want the low energy requirements of having only 1 platter.

Will replace it next year when 500GB/Platter 2.5" drives come about.

Reason why is they are due out in the next week.

Other companies are listing them for pre-order but can't see anything on Scan.

Are Scan going to be stocking the Toshiba MK3265GSX 320GB drive?

I take it by the lack of any response you have no plans on stocking these?

I ask as your competitors have either got stock today, or are getting stock coming in tomorrow.

Would rather buy the hard drive from Scan though.
