Corsair Value Select Problem

Hi there -

Bought 2 modules of 256mb PC3200 Corsair value select from Scan just before Xmas. They have been running in a KT400 based motherboard happily up until I tried them in another one (KT600) and the machine wouldnt post and simply produced beeps when the power was lit up. Tried changing the slots around and discovered that it was one of the sticks that was the problem - upon closer inspection...

Corsair Lifetime warrenty - does Scan deal with this, how do I go about it or is this even covered?

The best thing to do is to ring the returns guys on 0870-755-4747 ( option 1, option 2, option 1 ) and speak to them.

When you speak to them - give them the url to that image because as they state a picture is worth a 1000 words and then they can get the ball rolling on getting the memory replaced.

Ok update...

Wasn't the RAM - the little imperfection didnt seem to make ne difference in other PCs so I sold both sticks to a mate and bought a 512 one.
