hi. i built a pc for my mate at the end of fed and now the hard drive has developed a fault. when it boot up, 4 out of 5 times it asks for a boot media, so it can't see the hard drive.
weve managed to get it back to the desktop once though, but it blue screened soon afterwardsso now do i need to request a RMA from scan or do i need to send it back to samsung? but before i do anything iim gona get a cradle to try and connect the hd to my laptop just to make sure it is the hd. thanx
Samsung are generally cracking at RMA turn around speeds. I'd skip scan out and send it to them instead. I would definitely try out the cradle first to double check it is a HDD malfunction first and to get any data off it that might be important.

Actually I've recently had an RMA that still hasn't been completed after three weeks with Samsung, personally I'd go with Scan.
