MSI GTX 570 (OC) - realised it does not have reference 570 cooler on it ! 480 one ?
after reading a thead on another forum, and having higher than expected (from reviews) temps of my card I thought I'd check what the differences in looks are 570 and 480 cooler wise ....
and sure enough I have heat pipes out of the top of my cooler ....
looks just like a GTX480 cooler ..... I'm right in thinkin the 570 does not have this ?
feeling a bit duped to be honest as the whole reason I bought the 570 was for the sophisticated vapor-chamber cooler, otherwise I would have gone for the 480
any ideas ?

I have the same card but I haven't found that my temps are anything out of the ordinary, when my card is under load and over clocked playing crysis 2 or other games then the temps reach about 70c to 75c which is about normal as far as I'm concerned and as for when it's not being put of full load then it idles around 30c to 35c which I feel is pretty normal as well, what temps are you getting?

The GTX 480 cooler should be more than sufficient as it was used to cool the original 'hot as the sun' Fermi.... The GTX 570 runs cooler and draws less power.
