MSI 560ti broken fan blade and bsod

Today I was using computer and graphic card was under heavyish load (70%ish) and heard a snapping noise which i later found out it was a fan blade broke. the card ran ok for a bit after but now it won't start the computer to desktop, i have been able to load up in safe mode to desktop but in normal it bsod's just before desktop. Anyone have any ideas of what to do? . its the msi 560ti twinfrozr ii version.

If its under warranty I would return it for a replacement.

If its not under warranty, get an aftermarket cooler mate.

Other than that I dont think you have many other options :/

A 560Ti....surely it has to be under warranty?......plus with such a non-reference design, an after-market cooler that fits might be troublesome to find.

Fan blade just snapping? Hmmm, I've never had that happen in all my years with PCs......sounds to me like something either moved in the case and got caught in the blade or someone was prodding around inside Either way, I am still surprised one broken blade would reduce the airflow on a Twin Frozr to the point of instability - especially on the desktop.

Bottom line - physically damaged and then run into the ground.....good luck with the RMA!

Yes sorry to be a bummer but i would agress with shaithis, i think a cable may have found its way into the blade, ive had it happen before on a rear intake fan, however the blade did not snap, are you not able to order a new fan? i wouldnt even bother with an RMA you wont get far unfortunatly,
