If no one is home then the parcel will be sent back to the nearest DPD depot to the point of delivery and another delivery will be attempted the next working day.
Free delivery doesnt include Saturdays I am afraid as this isnt a standard delivery service.
Its worth noting however that if you provide a mobile number on your account you shall actually get a text message from DPD in the morning to confirm that the goods are out for delivery and they shall also provide a 1 hr time slot of when the parcel should be delivered.
Hope this helps
Regards
Do they deliver after 5pm do you know?
I don't know about delivery after 5pm, but I am fairly certain that you can opt to have deliveries sent to your work address instead of your home.
I ordered my MSI 7850 and they delivered it at 8:00pm so they deliver after 5pm
Fancy seeing you here again Tommy! Lol. Thanks for the info.
Delivery to work isnt an option as im looking to order a complete build and not willing to carry it all home
I got the first pieces for my new build on Saturday, and was happy to pay extra. The way I see it, Scan's delivery charges are pretty good (lower than ebuyer for a saturday delivery), and the £10 in my case was a lot less hassle than taking a day off work.
The heads-up from PDP worked brilliant, got a message around 8:30 that delivery would be between 9:47 and 10:47, they showed up around 10. Spot-on, and as usual great service from Scan!
