I think that certainly sounds like somewhere to put a bit of money in after the new graphics card then

Avoid sandforce at the moment, get either the Crucial m4 or Samsung 830 . Sandforce has problems across the bord with unreliability and crashes e.t.c

Samsung 830, hands down best SSD, no issues, excellent performer (and looks nice)!

    Old News.

Many of the problems have been rectified with various firmware updates and now there is nowhere near the same amount of issues reported as when they first came onto the market.

I've complete faith in sandforce based drives and currently have 3 in 1 system with another being added in the next 2-3 weeks time

I'd disagree, even with latest firmware OCZ drives are still failing. Happened to me quite recently.

Not really. They have a high failure rate...is a little bit harsh to sell you one and slag them off on these forums though.

Many have been yeah, but not all. Why risk your data when there are still known issues highlighted by respected hardware sites like Anand and our very own members like dangel and myself have had / having issues?

    Just get a 830 or a M4.

I have the Corsair Force GT 120GB and never had problems, as I mentioned in my selling post, the COrsair Force 3 was a backup OS drive with a cloned OS just in case my main drive clapped out. The ultimate question is do you have problems with the drive I sold you, if not then it isn't a problem, you still have 2.5 years warranty from Corsair as well for peace of mind.

My comment is a generalisation and I' sure your well aware of the problems OCZ have publicly have? I'm sure many people here haven't had problems with their sandforce based drives, but the fact there is problem previously some people have migrated to other platforms... naturally.

As A previous poster has mentioned firm ware updates have helped with various issues on the platform, and as many know the earlier firm ware versions were the most problematic.

In regards to Demonwar's comments: I simply provided an honest opinion on the sandforce platform and not aimed specifically at Corsair from seeing this problem of this platform in other forums. It won't make a difference if I didn't make my original coment, even worse perhaps, hoping no one notices. I have nothing to hide and the drive is in full working order. Now it would be harsh if the drive was faulty which it isn't. As he has left feedback mentioning no problems, I don't see an issue here.

Just because we sold stuff doesn't mean we can't comment and provide an honest opinion in general of the products either from our own experiances or in some people's cases other's people's experiances/ Consensus

Left feedback but yet to try it out properly. You now have the GT which is not the same. You know there are issues with the Force 3 so anything could happen at anytime!
