    A couple warranty questions.

So, after reading through some product warranties on Scan, I am really confused, if I were to have something faulty, do I RMA it with Scan, or go straight to the manufacturer? I recently bought a Corsair K90 from them, and I love it so much, but unfortunately one of the backlight LED's dont work, small problem, but still, I paid 100 pounds for this thing, and I expect it to work flawlessly, and I dont really want to send my keyboard all the way to America, which is where Corsair RMA's go to, I'd rather live with a broken LED than spend a ton of money shipping it across the Atlantic Ocean. Also, what is the difference between the Warranty types on the product information, sometimes I see "Direct" and sometimes I see "Return to Base". If anyone could clarify, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Re: A couple warranty questions.

With the warranties, if they say return to base this means they come back to SCAN where they will be tested and replaced. As such, you'll see this on various corsair warranties as we deal with these here at SCAN so customers who purchase the corsair hardware from us do not need to RMA it overseas.

If the warranty is direct (in the case of some monitors) then the manufacturers deal with any warranty and with any issues with the hardware.

    Best Regards,

    Re: A couple warranty questions.

Thank you for the quick reply, Lee. Well, the warranty for the Corsair K90 says direct, actually, a lot of the Corsair products say direct on them. So this means I have to give them to Corsair to deal with? Also, upon further inspection, my 6 key also flickers =/

    Re: A couple warranty questions.

it says direct and then has our number on it and we do deal with the RMA on these.

As such, you can request a RMA either by ringing the returns team on 0871-472-4747 choosing options 1 and then 2 and then 1 on the menu system.

Alternatively, you can request a RMA from the webform Here

    Best Regards,
