    Shuttle SN45 Not Booting

    I have a Shuttle SN45G version 1 motherboard revision 2. Bought from Scan around July 2003.

    It has never been overclocked I have only ever used the BIOS to set the FSB correctly. I powered it on yesterday and no video signal was outputted and the machine did not post.

    I have swapped in and out different graphics cards, memory, processors, shuttle power supplies to no avail. The machine just won't produce a video signal and fails to POST or show the BIOS.

    What can I do?

    The best advice I can give to you is to ring the technical line on 0870-755-4747 ( then select option 1, option 3, option 2) and they will ask a few questions and see if they can assist you in getting the system operational.

    Thanks Lee, are they open after 6pm or on saturdays?

    I've tried resetting the CMOS with the jumper and insert key trick. Do you know if Scan has access to Shuttle BIOS chips incase that's the problem?

    Unfortunately, we close on weekdays at 5.30 pm, but there is sometimes skeleton staff on during the saturday to assist customers.

    I really don't see why companies do this when the majority of the population probably work 9-5 it seems illogical.
