    Full Refund Period

Hi. How much time do you have for a full refund on brand new unopened items purchased from Scan?

    Fadsarmy.

You have 14 days using the distance selling regulations now to get items returned for a refund.

    Best Regards,

    Best Regards,
Hi Lee. Thanks for prompt reply. The item was purchased in-store. Does that make a difference?

Yes, no distance selling regs apply. So they have no requirement to refund unless fautly.

That is incorrect. I think you have a week or two for a full refund on unused, unopened goods. I need to do whether it's one or two weeks.

    No.

Providing the item isn't faulty, incorrectly described or not fit for purpose you are not entitled to a refund or exchange. Most retailers offer their own returns policies, but they choose to do so. No legal obligation.

I'm pretty sure he's correct, your goods are not faulty, you've changed your mind, the seller is not obliged to offer a refund, so it's over to scan to confirm if they have any type of goodwill period.

    Edit: Ninja'd !

Sorry, I didn't know that but I've done it many times but always within 7 days so I guess Scan has a goodwill return policy for 7 days.
