Also, for those that still have access to the offer, make sure you click checkout and don't use PayPal Checkout / Amazon Pay (you can still use PayPal at a later stage of the scan checkout process but no Amazon Pay. Cards and Bitcoin are also fine)...
It will show the price without carriage when checking out but you'll get charged price with carriage as they consider it a guest order rather than a logged in order - even though it automatically gets associated with your account.
So is the free shipping thing still a thing? ordered twice in the last month but only just seen this today.������

Although this is the SCAN forum and the HEXUS mods don't moderate in here, one of our HQ team asked the question and the FREE SHIPPING is still live
You need to be logged into your Scan account for it to work , not as a Guest

It may be working for existing members but for new members we seem to be having issues signing up for it even though we meet the criteria.
I get the message "Your HEXUS account is not found - please check your details and try again." Any chance someone from the HQ team able to chase this issue up with SCAN? Perhaps the database at Scan isn't syncing properly with the HEXUS forum and not recognising our registrations/posts.

From what I understand it appears that there are 2 validation checks in order for the system to grant you free shipping.
1. Check the HEXUS User ID, Username & Email Address to see if its valid.
2. Check if the user's post count is 20 or above.
The issue is that us recently registered members can't even get past step 1.

It certainly seems fair to say Scan CS haven't got a clue what the Hexus forums are, or indeed that there was any kind of free shipping offer.
I've just been told by Cherie on live chat that it seems 'a bit iffy' even though I've posted her links to this forum and the link to their own scan page to link accounts that does not work.
Scan used to be here all the time and know exactly what the free shipping offer is.
Now they haven't been on here in a long long time apart from like one post so I don't know if free shipping has changed, if they have new staff or what is going on in relation to it as its obviously affecting a few people now.
Really needs the people running Hexus to get on to Scan and find out if the offer is still on and whats going on with it

Exactly this......I contacted them before Christmas when I originally tried to link my accounts, I wasn't placing an order at the time, I just wanted them linked for future.
The chap didn't have a clue, told me he would have it looked into, and in the meantime when I placed an order, contact them and they would refund the delivery.
So that's what I was doing today. The girl I spoke to, again, had no idea what I was on about, and said her supervisor had told her she was unable to authorise a delivery refund.....So I said, that's fine no problem, in which case, please can you help me link my accounts.
I sent her links to this forum, with the offer, and also the scan page where you input the details. Which was where she told me it looked a bit iffy, and that they probably ran a promotion back in 2008 that isn't valid anymore.
If that's the case, fine, the forum needs updating, but there is nothing to suggest this has ended (evidenced by the fact the link to the scan site is very much still active)
Please can Hexus get an update from scan?
I read the post thanks but clearly its still not working for people and if people are being told by Scan that its either not on or they are not aware of it then that needs further clarification. Its no good Scan saying its on but then people cannot register etc.
I am wondering if its more to do with the server move recently that caused other issues around the site?
Looks like profiles aren't being linked somewhere?
