    XFX GF6800GT problem

I've logged this with scan tech support, but I might as well ask here too.

I bought a GA-K8NXP-SLI board and 2 GF6800GTs this week. Hooked them all up, everything appears to work fine, unless I try to enable SLI. Then the machine hangs as soon as I try to use 3d or alter the driver settings. I've tried reseating everything, various versions of drivers (66.93, 67.03, 67.66, 71.20), rebooting countless times, swapping the cards over, different monitors (analogue and digital). Nothing helps.
I'm fairly sure they have enough power, I have a Tagan 480W PSU and the molex->pci-e connectors are running off separate dedicated wires from the PSU.

So, can anyone suggest anything, or have I just got some duff hardware here?

Could well be the BIOS setup on the Gigabyte Board - which version are you running?

I have the AGP version of the XFX6800GT, you might have seen my thread a little further down the list. It sounds like we're having a similar problem but obviously with yours being PCI it could be way different. I've been through the whole, drivers, reseat, powersupply stuff and I've still no luck

Have scan enlightened you about your problem by any chance?

The latest from gigabyte - F6.

Not sure it's the same issue nvisage, mine works perfectly as long as SLI is disabled. I can boot to windows with both cards running, one monitor on each and it's fine. As soon as I enable SLI though, it's game over.

    Nothing from Scan yet.

Found the solution - upgrade to win xp. Seems SLI wasn't happy with my windows 2k install.
