Shipping date for 2080 ti

Heya, I purchased a MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11GB GAMING X TRIO on august 24th, expecting that it'd be shipped on the 20th of sept.

But after not really paying much attention for a few days thinking it's all good, I'm seeing many many posts on the nvidia subreddit, and a few other places, saying that almost everywhere's actually out of stock (not sure how they'd know this for a pre order item though) and won't be delivering until november-ish.

Any clarification on whether or not this is the case? my delivery date on scan just assumed it was a normal item and told me august 25th haha

Really looking forward to sept 20th/21st or so and if this card won't make the date but another version will i'd happily cancel and re-order that one from you. Thanks!

Nvidia have been reported as saying the 2080TI will be pushed back a week. I spoke to Scan about ordering last week and they didn't have anything firm in terms of dates.

I was advised to pick another card as the msi pre orders are in triple numbers, but I rather the MSI one as I currently have the same model but the 1080ti version.

"Your estimated despatch date was 27th september, your new estimated despatch date is 30th november"

I ended up changing my ordered to the palit 2080ti gaming oc i was abit wary having never had a palit but am happy i changed it it says boost to 1650 but it does boost up to 2050 mhz without a manual overclock if ye wanted to look at that am happy with it so far.

That is great man, I am going to wait for the MSI version, I stuck with MSI for most of my GPU's so I know I can trust em. I bet your smashing all the benchmarks wonder how Assassins Creed Odyssey at max settings will run, getting 63 fps dropping to lows of 50fps using the 1080ti and that is only at 2560 x 1080p lol...

Scanchat was unable to tell me.
According to Nvidia Forums, digital river has resolved the stock issues, so I wonder why it is taking so long.

it was 1200 last weekend now its gone up another 100 prices are becoming a joke

To be honest with you it is possible but not guaranteed that the prices will go up again around January due to the tariffs places on China by the USA which will also affect the EU markets inc the UK, this is the main reason I invested last week...
