    Realistic timescale for stock

Sorry if this isn't the right place.

I have googled around and wondered if there is any timeframe for more stock of GPUs?

I cannot find out anything! What are we talking? Weeks, months.... years?!

Or is it a case of get in line and just wait!

I would love a 3060, but to be honest would be very happy with a 1660!

But even those are now on pre-order.

    Thanks.

Literally no body knows. Scan get alerts of shipments and put them up on the site but they sell out instantly. We're in uncertain times right now and we just have to keep waiting, nothing is set it stone or guaranteed on stock levels and prices unfortunately. I'd recommend joining a stock alert server on discord to have a chance of getting a new card

I wonder if they will incorporate some sort of bot protection, as it's impossible to get cards :/

Drop was today the 4th at around 15:10. Last one seemed to be on the 20th january before this.

You are not alone, Along with many others I've scoured every online store from here to mars looking for the same sort of information regarding the stocking situation but nobody knows what's happening from one day to the next.

At this stage I was expecting some websites to have some kind of list /waiting list of genuine people looking for cards but judging by what the store staff say it would be a lot of hard work keeping it updated

I agree the best thing to do would be to join some of the part alerts channels on discord and keep manually checking the websites that you frequent.

I managed to snag a PS5 at retail. I've given up on obtaining either a 30x0 or 6x00 series card.

    Re: Realistic timescale for stock

Scan is the one place it’s possible to get one of the 30 series cards as they have bot protection and try and limit people to one 30 series FE or AiB card unlike Currys or Amazon who seem to be targeted by bots making it impossible to compete.

I would suggest searching for a discord which alerts you to a scan FE drop...it’s how I got my 3070 FE recently.
