    SCAN Protect, item out of stock

    I bought a 5600x and an MSI b550-a pro mobo from scan with scan protect added for peace of mind. I damaged the motherboard during install and dropped my cpu cooler on it and dented the dimm slot. I know SCAN protect will replace the part for me however the motherboard is out of stock currently and is listed for pre order. What happens in this scenario? Will they have extra stock for RMAs, issue a refund or allow me to pick a different mobo and pay the difference?

    It's probably best to contact Scan support and find out from an official support rep
