    OEM Windows XP

Just a query regarding the "qualifying hardware" for the OEM WinXP... It says in the list memory is regarded as qualifying hardware, but when I went to order some Corsair VS1GB (512 x2) the option to purchase the WinXP didn't appear. And neither when I went to order the OEM AMD64 3500+ Winchester..

    Are these both non-qualifying hardware?
    Thanks if anyone knows!!

The guidelines are pretty firm as to what qualifies to buy oem Windows. I'm sure the Corsair memory & cpu are probably an oversight however

If buying OEM operating systems you need to purchase an item thats "essential" for computer use so a CPU, HDD, Memory, graphics or even a keyboard and mouse qualifies for Windows OEM.

    Hope this information helps
