Managed Accounts
I work in a local PC shop as a technician, and was talking to our director today in passing conversation about scan with another techie. We mentioned scan, as we have both bought parts from you and it had been a faultless experience. [nice prices, too ;)].
Anyway, we have had some issues with certain suppliers in the past, and I informed the company director that Scan offer managed accounts. He had seen adverts of yours before in certain magazines but has never bought anything from you. He seemed interested in setting up an account, but was downhearted to find that the business needed to be running atleast 3 years before we could register. As far as I know this was the only qualifying factor we couldn't meet. The shop has, however, been open for almost 10 years. The previous owners split the business and became network specialists and left the retail sector, a couple of staff kept their current jobs and still work there to date, and the shop has been under current ownership for 9 months now.
We were wondering (speaking on behalf of the director, I guess, but dont take this as final) if Scan are willing to give leeway on the time period, considering the background on the establishment?
Many thanks

Tobeman,
I have spoken to our managed account's team and the 3 year trading rule is only really for credit accounts. You could still apply for a managed account paying by card.
I hope this helps.
If you would like any further infomation please pm me.
Kind Regards
