Unhappy No display signal on boot up (new rig)

I just recently bought a completely new rig (as shown in signature). I been using most of today completing the system and installing all the components properly. And then when i finally try and turn on the power, then it does not show any signal at all (total disappointment!) Everything looks to be running ok when i turn the pc on, but just no signal so I wonder if its something to do with the graphics card (XFX 7800GT).

I been trying to unplug everything else and just have the graphics card on but nothing happens. I tried smelling it (if burned) but smells brand new still, so not sure if its the card. Im not sure if it might be the motherboard or memory, but everything there seems to be ok as well. It does not beep or anything, so i presume it is ok?

The main components i got is:

    MSI K8N Platinum SLi motherboard
    AMD A64 3500+ "Venice" CPU
    XFX 7800GT Graphics card
    Corsair 2x512 PC4400

I hope someone would be able to help me.

If you need more info please just ask so and I will try and give as much as possible.

EDIT: I forgot to mentioned that I connect to the graphics card by DVI-to-VGA converter, so not sure if perhaps that is not possible?

I found the problem, forgot to attach the 4-pin connector to the motherboard, to give the cpu some power (doh!)
