stock query on a case?

i ordered this on monday, but i just got an email saying its out of stock?

is this true as the website says its still in stock.

i just recieved an email from cs saying it wil be back instock in a week or so.

one suggestion why cant you have a accurate stock level?

i.e in stock.

as ive placed 4 orders in the last month (2 different accounts) and on all 4 orders i only picked items that were instock on the website yet everytime i get an email saying one or more of the items are out of stock.

quite annoying

It is very possible for us to display actual amounts of stock, however, it was decided not to do this for security reasons, very good security reasons trust me.

So what theyre just a get changed to out of stock at the end of the day thing? I dont think the guys asking for numbers, just that something is changed to out of stock when its ordered by someone else (rather than when its picked, which i guess is what happens now i dont know)

You guys from scan really are impressive. Almost makes me feel guilty if i order something from someone else.

yes the stock should reflect what is ordered not picked.
stock should be reserved as soon as an order is made.

its just the case i wanted still says in stock, yet 24 hrs ago i recieved an email saying its out of stock.

scan just need a more reliable and realtime-ish stock level indicator.
